DISCHARGE REVIEW RIGHTS - Mr. Miller
Mr. Miller said he planned a motion to place on first reading at the
next Council meeting, the amended motion that was tabled at the last
reading. He asked Mrs. Thornber if she were inclined to support that.
Mayor asked if they did not have to take it off the table. Mr. Miller
said, no, he had put it on the agenda. Mayor asked the City Attorney
and he said he really did not think so, it could be placed on the agenda
for the purpose of making a motion to take it off t~e table. The Attorney
felt it appropriate if something had been tabled the way to get it off
would be to make a motion. Mr. Miller said they had some items that
had been re- agendaed. Mrs. Thornber said she was not inclined. Mr. Miller
said his purpose was to provide the employees with notice of as to what
their appeal and grievance rights were.
