SUBJECT: Amendment One to Michael Baker Lease

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: A proposed Amendment Number One to the Michael Baker Jr.
lease in the Baldwin Building at Northwest Florida Regional Airport, is being presented to the
Board of County Commissioners for approval.
BACKGROUND: On June 23, 2014 the Board approved a lease for office space in the Baldwin
Building for Michael Baker Jr., Inc. This Amendment will delete Section 11 from the lease
because Northwest Florida Regional Airport tenants and concessionaires do not pay utilities.
The cost for utilities comes out of their rent/lease payment. A current certificate of insurance is
attached along with the contract and lease internal coordination sheet.
OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table.
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve the Lease
Amendment as described above.
