A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH DECLARING AND
DESIGNATING THE COMET STREET PARK A FORT WALTON BEACH CITY
NEIGHBORHOOD PARK; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Fort Walton Beach recognizes that there
is a need for certain recreational areas to serve public purposes and to
provide for the health and welfare of the citizens of the City;
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to officially designate certain
property as a City neighborhood park so that the public has notice of the
character and proper use of the area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION I: The City Council of the City of Fort Walton Beach hereby
declares and designates the Comet Street Park as a Fort Walton Beach City
Neighborhood Park.
SECTION II: That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
approval by Council and signature of the Mayor.
