THE AUTHORIDTIOIr TO CHANGE GASOLENE ENGINES TO
NATURAL GAS ENGINES WHEREVER APPEARING AND AMOUNTING
TO AN IHCREASE OF $ 76. 45, AND DECIARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, it has been deemed advisable by the City Engineers on the
1riater Supply Well for the City of Fort Walton Beach, in contract with
Layne- Central Company, that Change Order Number One be made changing
ftGasolene Engines" to " Natural Gas Engines" ' Wherever appearing, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City Council of the City of
Fort Walton Beach, Florida, authorize this change in the present contract,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT '~ JALTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Engineer deems it advisable that the change
from Gasolene Engines to Natural Gas Engines be made in this contract,
amounting to an increase of $ 76. 45 in the contract price.
SECTION 2: That because of existing emergency requiring imm.ediate
action in this matter, this resolution is hereqy declared to be an
emergency resoltuion and shall take effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the Mayor.
