The revised amount is $18,000 more than originally quoted to us. The new quote includes more accurate payroll expenses, equipment and supplies, and vehicle fuel and maintenance costs. Our request is modified by asking for level funding in cash assistance to the Health Department of $601,661. This FY2015 cash assistance request is only $427.00 more than what the County gave in cash to the health department in FY2004. Our FY2015 request is 38% lower than the maximum of cash support to the health department in FY2009 when we received $830,896 from the County Commission. During the past several years of fiscal austerity, the health department has willingly cooperated with significantly reducing our budget request to the BCC. The health department has always been very fiscally responsible and supportive of the County. Below is our revised FY15 request as compared to our FY14 request. In this request, | am requesting level cash funding to the health department for FY15. We are also requesting that $74,000 be allocated to the facilities maintenance budget for janitorial services for the health department.
