I BID FOR NEW POLICE CARS
mously.
City Manager stated that the City has two
Police cars off the streets and one other
that should be. One of these cars is a
total wreck. The insurance company said
they would pay $ 2, 700 with $ 250 deductible.
That would leave $ 2, 450 that the insurance
company would pay. We got bids from two
dealers to buy a car to replace this one.

TV SYSTEM BIDtt TO BE Mr. Rigdon requested that the " TV System
TURNED OVER TO PLANNING Sealing Equipment Bid" be given to the
BOARD FOR STUDY Municipal Planning Board for their study.
They have three engineers on that board,
and think this would take
I some of the
pressure off Mr. Griffin.

the reason for his motion about the bid.
Whenever there is a controversy or a ques-

think the responsibility needs to be placed
squarely on the shoulders of Council.
