Dear Mayor Glover:
On June 10, 2003, the City Council graciously granted the request of the Camp Walton
Village Condominium Association. Inc. (" Association"), for a brief continuance of the above-
referenced matter to the City Council's next regularly scheduled meeting. Since June 10, 2003. the
Applicant and the Association have met and discussed the Association' s concerns. As a result of
that meeting. the Applicant has submitted a revised site plan dated June 19. 2003. Accordingly, I
am pleased to inform the City Council that the Association withdraws its objections to the proposed
site plan, as revised on June 19, 2003.
The withdrawal of the Association' s objections is expressly based upon the revised site plan
dated June 19. 2003. It is the Association' s understanding that only the revised site plan dated June
19. 2003, will be considered by the City Council at its meeting tonight. In the event that a new
revised" site plan is presented tonight, the Association hereby objects to consideration of such a
new " revised" siteplan on the grounds that the Association will be prejudiced by the lack of advance
notice of such a plan. Moreover, if a new " revised" site plan is presented. the Association requests
that this mattcr be continued to the City Council' s next regularly scheduled meeting so tbat the
Association win have adequate time to review such a plan.
In conclusion. by granting the Association' s request for a brief continuance, the Applicant
and the Association were able to resolve the Association' s concerns. However. if a new " revised"
site plan is presented to the City Council tonight. the Association requests that the matter be
continued again because withdrawal oftbe Association' s objections was expressly contingent upon
the revised site plan dated June 19, 2003.
