Council of the Day of Prayer scheduled
at the Civic Auditorium on April 30, 1974
at noon.
CINDERELLA LANE Mr. Palmer stated that he wanted to fur-
ther discuss Cinderella Lane. He stated
t4at C9~ ncil did not really vote on Mr.
SC9tt' s : request for the 50' easement.
Mr. Van , Buskirk stated that most of the
r~~id~nts were not upset about the ease~
merit, however, they do not want Cin-
I d~ re1la Lane opened. Mr. Baughman stated
that he, is not in favor of taking any
action until Mr. Scott can guarantee that
he will not open the road. Mr. Baughman
f~rthersaid that he would be in favor
Q~ granting the request provided that
there would be a legal guarantee that

Mr. Palmer moved that the north 50' easement
of the property, near Mrs. Buck, be vacated
to Mr. Scott for the purpose of ingress
and egress to his property in exchange for
an easement across his property so that
utilities can be furnished to Jack Nichols,
which he has requested. Mr. Palmer stated
l
that this was a separate matter from what
Mr. ' Van Buskirk had acted on. Motion was
seconded by Mr. Van Buskirk. Mr. Rigdon
stated that the only thing he would like
to see inserted is that we dedicate this
right of way to him if he will give Council
in writing that he will not require to open
into Cinderella. City Attorney stated that
it can be legally drawn that Mr. Scott can
forego any rights to use Cinderella Lane,
providing that City vacates easement.
Mr. Palmer restated his motion: Move that
north 50' of Mr. Scott' s property, which is
now a dedicated road, be vacated to him,
provided that he does not use Cind' rella
Lane as ingress and egress. Mr. Palmer
also included that the easement be given
across Mr. Scott' s property for utilities
for the Nichols property. Motion was duly
seconded and carried unanimously.
