Public Content The School Health Services Plan is a two-year document (2024-2026) designed to facilitate the establishment of local strategeies to implement activities mandated by law to meet the health of Florida's students and improve their chances for success in school. Although the Department of Healthin Okaloosa County takes the lead on preparing this document, the law required that this plan be collaboratively developed and approved by the Okaloosa County Health Department (CHD), the local school district (LEA), contracted health provder (Aveanna Health Care) and reviewed by the local School Health Advisory Commiittee (SHAC).
