was held at the City Hall on February

Maurice McLaughlin, Mayor
George Palmer
Joseph Guidry
Art Schweizer
Hurdis Brock
William Sconiers and,
City Manager.
Mayor read waiver of notice of meeting stating
that the meeting was called to discuss passage
of a supporting the emergency route
resolution
utilizing the easement granted by Eglin Air Force
Base.
Mayor McLaughlin then read resolution 71- 1:
A resolution of the City of Fort Walton Beach
supporting the construction of a four lane
evacuation from the Fort Walton Beach,
route
Florida, area to the North connecting with
Interstate 10 so as to avoid travel over low
lying portions of State Road 85 adjacent to
Boggy Bayou and so as to avoid traveling
through populated areas, providing the effective
date hereof.
Mr. Sconiers moved that this resolution be adopted
as read. Motion seconded by Mr. Palmer and carried
unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT Meeting adjourned at 4: 40 p. m.
