Welcome to the Destin 50 Beach Ultra 2013! This running race takes place on the white
sand beaches of Destin, Florida and next to the emerald green waters of the Gulf of
Mexico to benefit the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

Description
We have aid stations that can not be matched, top of the line Under Armour race shirts and
serious medals, an organized race that runs on time all the time, and the greatest group of
volunteers you have ever seen! If you want to run a race like no other, in a location with
beauty that can not be matched anywhere in the world...then this is your race!
Please look through our website as it provides the answers to most questions. If you don't
find your answer there, contact us on our Facebook page or email destin50@live.com. We
always have time to make sure our runners know everything they need to finish and have a
great time!
The 24hr World Record Attempt Team is an invite only team due to the labor intensive work
of documenting all the runners for Guinness World Records. Please sign up for one of our

To Whom It May Concern,
The Destin 50 Beach Ultra is asking for the waiver of the permit fee for Okaloosa County. All profits
from our race go directly to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation which provides college
scholarships for children of special ops troops killed in combat or training.
Our race will cause very little disruption in Okaloosa County by taking place completely on the beach.
It briefly passes over Okaloosa County beach at The Crab Trap.
