Okaloosa County Engineering Department 1759 South Ferdon Boulevard Crestview, Florida 32536 RE: Hattie’s Grove Subdivision Okaloosa County, Florida ENGINEER’S CERTIFICATION We hereby certify that the above referenced project has been constructed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications with the following exceptions. This determination is based upon inspections conducted on 12/09/14 and 12/22/14. 1) The additional brick paver pull-off area for the post office cluster box unit(s) will be constructed prior to a Certificate of Occupancy (CO) being issued for any home. 2) The 6” white solid line striping for the Offsite Traffic Improvements was not installed as per discussions with the County Engineer. 3) There were three (3) areas shown as pavers on the plans that were paved with asphalt instead; however, it will have no impact upon the stormwater calculations as the pavers were assumed to have the same coefficient of runoff as the asphalt pavement. 4) The proposed swale block on the west side of Hattie Mae Lane at approximately STA 10+75 was not installed at this time as the driveway for Lot 1 of the proposed Hattie’s Grove Phase II project will function as a swale block. 5) A tee turnaround for a future privacy gate on the private portion of the roadway was installed at approximately STA 12+10. 6) At approximately STA 20+25, in attempt to save a tree on the perimeter of the interior basin, tfie slope from the back of the curb to the tree is steeper than a 3:1. The health of the tree may \ have been’ afl'ected by the road construction and will need to be monitored.
