BACKGROUND: Staff was directed to develop a funding request form to be used by outside organizations requesting tourist development tax funding. The purpose of the form is to standardize the request process so the requisite information is submitted to facilitate the review and approval process. Ideally, requests would be submitted for consideration by the TDC as part of the annual budget process. However, budget funds will be set aside in future year budgets to address requests for which extenuating circumstances exist. OPTIONS: 1) Approve Operational & Capital Funding Request form as presented. 2) Provide feedback/direction regarding proposed form. RECOMMENDATION TO BCC: N/A, for staff guidance purposes only. This form must be completed in its entirety in order for the funding request to be presented to the Tourist Development Council for consideration. Supplemental information may be provided, but summary information must be provided in each section of this form.
