A RESOLUTION ENTITLED
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER BY THE CITY
MANAGER AND CITY CLERK OF $1100.00 FROM THE CON
TINGENCY FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE PURPOSE
OF EXTENDING THE FIRE STATION OF THE CITY OF FORT
WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE AND BECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary to authorize and direct
the City Manager and City Clerk to transfer the sum of $1100.00
from the contingency fund to the general fund for fire station
extension, and
WHEREAS, said transfer should be immediately accomplished,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA: |
1. The City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to immediately transfer the sum of $1100.00 from the
contingency fund to the general fund for the purpose of extending
the fire station of the City of Fort Walton Beach.
2e That in order to provide for the immediate preservation
of the public peace, health, safety and welfare, this Resolution
is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and shall take
effect immediately after its passage and approval by the Mayor.
