Volume III Contract Documentation Page 31 employees have also participated in the United Way Day of Caring each year, where we get involved with the local community and do manual labor to help fix up a local charity or school.  Initiative No. 4 – Horizons – OCWS has a contract with Horizons, Inc., a local, non-profit organization that employs mentally and physically disabled individuals. Horizons does the landscaping and recycling for OCWS.  Initiative No. 5 – Water Conservation – OCWS promotes potable water conservation through inclining block rates, marketing, and passing out information at events like Earth Day and the Home Show. This gives us social interaction with our customers, and also enables them to save money.
