A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH TO ENTER INTO
CONTRACTS WITH MILO SMITH AND ASSOCIATES, AND THE
WEST FLORIDA REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL FOR PLANNING
SERVICES FOR APPLICATIONS AND PERFORMANCE REPORTS OF
THE CDBG SMALL CITIES PROGRAM, PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE
DATE HEREOF.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION I. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter
into a contract with Milo Smith and Associates for planning services
with the for the second year Small Cities
in connection application
Program and the final year Hold Harmless Program and with the
West
Florida Council for preparation of the performance
Regional Planning
Hold
report for the first year Small Cities Program and fourth year
Harmless Program.
SECTION II. This resolution being of an administrative
nature shall take full force and effect immediately upon its passage
and approval by the Mayor.

AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES
BETWEEN
FORT WALTON BEACH
AND
MILO SMITH + ASSOCIATES, INC.
MILO SMITH + ASSOCIATES, INC,; hereinafter referred to as
the Consultant, agrees to furnish consultant services to the CITY
OF FORT WALTON BEACH, hereinafter referred to as the City, under
the Community Development Block Grant Program established by Title I
of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended,
and the Housing and Community Development Act of 1977. The following
describes the terms of this Agreement:
I. The Consultant agrees to furnish services when requested
by the City including:
Preparation of Application
Housing Assistance Plan
Necessary mapping
Performance Report
Consultation and recommendations on property
acquisition, relocation and rehabilitation
II. Requests for consultant services will be made In writing
by the City and will specify scope of services requested of the Con-
su1tant. Scope of services will include time limits or deadlines.
III. The City will pay the Consultant for services rendered
as prescribed in FR 570. 200 ( g) and upon completion of services.
Invoices submitted by Consultant will be prepared to conform to
this requirement. Consultant agrees to make all records available
for review by representatives of the Department of Housing and Urban
Development and the General Accounting Office.
IV. This Agreement may be amended upon concurrence of
both the Counsultant and the City.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, THE COUNSULTANT AND THE CITY OF FORT
