Enclosed is one original and four (4) copies of our response. Michael R.Dombrowski, P. E. has prepared more than 8 marina feasibility studies over the last 3 years and is uniquely qualified to provide the services requested in this solicitation. MRD Associates, Inc. will be the prime consultant and point of contact for this project. As part of the Project Team there are two key subconsultants: 1) Choctaw Engineering, Inc.; and, 2) Advanced Environmental Technologies, L.L.C.. Choctaw Engineering, Inc. will: conduct the bathymetric and condition surveys; prepare the State of Florida submerged land lease survey; and, provide any upland civil engineering services. Advanced Environmental Technologies, L.L. C.. will conduct the water quality sampling and reporting, and environmental services for the Project Team. MRD Associates, Inc. has worked together with these firms on a number of successful projects in providing cost- effective services to the client. These include, but are not limited to: Destin West Yacht Harbour, Emerald Coast Boat Show; Galati Yachts; Harbor Walk Marina; The Olympia; and, Marbel/a Yacht Club. It is our understanding the City of Fort Walton Beach desires to investigate the feasibility of constructing? concrete docking facility to support transient vessels. This Statement of Qualifications proposes an alternative to the approach outlined in the Request for Proposal with the purpose of providing the City clear understanding of the opportunities and limitations of pursuing a transient docking facility (refer to Section 3. 0). It is our intent that after the of the feasibility study report to the City Council, that the City will have the presentation necessary information to make an informed decision as to the future direction of this project.
