Ord. No. 1452, ~ 3, 8- 14-01) J Sec. 20- 2014. Signs permitted- Specific uses. a) Automatic teller machines (ATM' s). ATM' s are permitted one wall sign, not to exceed four square feet. The sign shall be mounted no more than eight feet above the finished elevation of the ATM. signage permitted by sections 20- 2010 and b) Multi-tenant centers. In addition to the 20-2011, multi-tenant centers shall be permitted additional signage as follows: 1) Directional and tenant index signs. For the safe movement of vehicles and to assist patrons in locating businesses within a multi-tenant center, on-premises directional and tenant index signs are permitted as part of a coordinated sign plan. The signs shall be limited to ten square feet in area, and shall not exceed six feet in height. Directional and tenant index signs shall be set back a minimum of 20 feet from any front property line. 2) Monument signs. For multi-tenant centers with more than 20, 000 square feet of tenant space, the size of monument signs permitted by sections 20- 2010 and 20- 2011 may be increased as listed below: a. Maximum height: 24 feet. b. Maximum width: 14 feet. c. Sign size: 100 square feet ( text and/or graphics area). d. Number of signs permitted: The number of monument signs permitted shall be subject to the requirements listed in sections 20- 2010 and 20- 2011. Installation requirements: Monument signs shall be subject to the installation requirements listed in sections 20- 2010 and 20- 2011. 3) Pennants. Pennants, limited to six square feet in area each or less, may be permitted as partof a plan for a multi-tenant center. The pennants shall be attached to sign free-standing poles or free-standing light fixtures, and shall be utilized as a coordi- nated decorative scheme for a multi-tenant center. c) Car dealerships, new and used. In addition to the permitted signage and conditions contained in section 20- 2010, the following regulations apply to new and used car dealerships: 1) A car dealership is permitted additional monument signs as follows: a. More than 150 feet of street frontage, one additional monument sign is allowed; b. More than 200 feet of street frontage, two additional monument signs are allowed; c. More than 300 feet of street frontage, three additional monument signs are allowed; and d. More than 500 feet of street frontage, four additional monument signs are allowed. 2) A car dealership permitted to install more than two monument signs, shall be subject to the following limitations: a. If three monument signs are permitted, no monument sign area shall exceed the stated maximum of 100 square feet and the total square footage of sign area for the three monument signs shall not exceed 250 square feet. b. If four monument signs are permitted, no monument sign area shall exce~d the stated maximum of 100 feet. and the total square footage of sign area for square the four monument signs shall not exceed 300 square feet. c. If five monument signs are permitted; no monument sign area shall exceed the stated"maximum of 100 square feet and the total square footage of sign area for the five monument signs shall not exceed 350 square feet. 3) Pennants. Pennants, limited to six square feet in area each or less, may be permitted as partof a sign plan for a car dealership.
