Signs permitted- R-2 district. a) Multifamily developments with three or more units are permitted one wall sign or one monument sign. The sign area shall be limited to 16 square feet. Monument signs shall be limited to four feet in height and six feet in width. Monument signs shall be located a minimum of five feet from any front or side property line, and shall be located within a landscaped buffer. Wall signs shall have. a mounting height no greater than ten feet above the grade of the property. The signs shall be non-illuminated or externally illuminated. b) The owner or occupant of a residential unit in a multifamily development may display on-premises signs provided the total sign area of all such signs shall not exceed four square feet; and provided further that nothing contained herein shall be construed to permit the owner or occupant to display a sign on property which he or she does not own or occupy or on thecommQn area of such development.
