A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR OCTOBER 1, 2022 THROUGH SEPTEMBER
30, 2023 BUDGET TO MAKE CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO APPROPRIATIONS OF
CITY FUNDS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Resolution 2022- 18, adopted on September 21, 2022, authorizes
amendments to the FY 2022- 23 budget via resolution; and
WHEREAS, due to donations, grants, disposal of fixed assets, and other actions that
have revised the City' s FY 2022- 23 Adopted Budget, it is prudent and necessary to otherwise
amend the FY 2022-23 budget as set forth herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. There is appropriated $2,361, 931 from general fund balance increasing the FY
2022- 23 original General Fund budget to $ 30, 880, 869 and the current General Fund budget to
39,474, 367.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval by City Council
and signature of the Mayor.
