AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN
THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH FROM R-1 TO
R-2, PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF
BACKGROUND FACTS:
A. The owner of the property described in this ordinance has
submitted a request to rezone this property, and
B. A public hearing has been held after "due public notice"
before the Municipal Planning Board of Fort Walton Beach,
which meeting occurred on 7th day of September 1982. The
Municipal Planning Board has recommended the request sub-
mitted by the owner be approved, and
C. A public hearing under this same "due public notice" has
been held before the City Council on September 28, 1982, and
D. This property is located on Lots 17, 18, and 19, Block 5,
Howard Gill Subdivision (39 Park Circle). This property is
bordered on the west by C-1 zoning, on the south by R-2
zoning, on the east by R-1 zoning and to the north by Park
Circle;
Considering all of the above, it is ORDAINED:
Section 1. That the following described property is hereby rezoned
from R-1 to R-2:
Lots 17, 18, and 19, Block 5, Howard Gill Subdivision
(39 Park Circle).
Section 2, This ordinance shall become effective upon its approval
by the Council upon second reading and upon signature by the Mayor.
