STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Board is requested to approve World Fiber Technologies, Inc.
Task Order 14 on Contract C10-1838-IS in the amount of $100,000.00 for maintenance/repair on
the fiber optic system.
BACKGROUND: The Board has an existing contract with World Fiber Technologies, Inc. for
the maintenance and repair of the fiber optic system. This task order is necessary to provide for
increased requests for fiber at new County locations. This task order has been through the
Purchasing review process and funding is available in the Fiber Optic Telecommunications
budget.
OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove
RECOMMENDATIONS: Approve the Chairman to sign Task Order 14 with World Fiber
Technologies, Inc.
