AL TAVISTA- REQUEST FOR EXTENSION ( CONT)
Mike Crew, applicant, advised the City Council
approved the site plan on March 28, 2006, but
due to changes in the building code due to storms,
design changes had to be made, as well as
working out agreements with neighboring property owners which took more time than
anticipated. He requested the 12- month extension to ensure everything is finalized when the
project is brought back to the City.
The Board received clarification that no
changes have been made to the approved site plan,
only to move from a conceptual to an actual site plan. Also noted was the fact that many
easements are involved and at one time the parcel was
part of a DRI which affected 4 or 5
different parcels, and cross- access agreements had to be worked out with the individuals
owning the parcels.
The Acting Chairman asked for public input. There was none.
Missy McKim, CDS Director clarified that the recommendation of the Board will include all of the
same conditions of the original approval which were
inadvertently omitted from the draft
Development Order, and advised they will be added to the Development Order prior to going to
City Council.
As there were no objections, the Staff Report was entered and
accepted into the record.
Mr. Reed moved to recommend approval of the development order with City Council' s
conditions of approval and a 12- month extension of the site
plan approval for the project
in accordance with Section 12. 457. 07 ofthe Land
Development Code as follows:
