AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 610 - ANIY~LS, SECTION 610. 04( b)
LICENSING OF DOGS AND CATS, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF FORT
WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA; PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:
QB_!. That Section 610. 04( b) of the Codified Ordinances of Fort
Walton Beach, Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows:
610. 04( b) LICENSING OF DOGS AND CATS
Writtenapplication for licenses shall be made to the City or its
authorized agent. Such applications shall include the name and address of the
applicant, a description of the dog or cat, the appropriate fee and a licensed
veterinarian, anti- rabies clinic, or a statement signed by the owner that the
vaccination was administered by a licensed veterinarian within the past twelve
months. A statement signed by the owner shall include the date, name and
address of the veterinarian, or clinic, administering the vaccination.
gIQB__II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
approval by Council and signature by the Mayor.
