AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1286.02(f) OFF-STREET
PARKING AND LOADING REGULATIONS -—- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON
BEACH, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WALTON BEACH, FL:
SECTION I. That Section 1286.02(f) of these Codified
Ordinances of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, are hereby amended to read as
follows:
(f) For each commercial building: one space for each 300
square feet of ground floor area, except that grocery
stores require two spaces for each 300 square feet of
floor area. For all floors above the first floor: one
space for each 500 square feet of floor area.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon approval by Council and signature by the Mayor.
