A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH~
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR OCTOBER 1, 2008 THROUGH
SEPTEMBER 30, 2009 BUDGET TO MAKE CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO
APPROPRIATIONS OF CITY FUNDS FOR HOUSING REHABILITATION;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. Authoritv
Resolution 2008- 45, adopted on September 22, 2008, authorizes amendments to
the FY 2008- 09 budget by resolution.
Section 2. CDBG Fund Budget Amendment
The City has been awarded $ 38, 366 in Community Development Block Grant
Program funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. These
funds will be used for energy efficient rehabilitation of low/moderate income housing.
Therefore, there is appropriated $ 38, 366 from federal grant revenues increasing
the CDBG Fund budget from $ 141, 275 to $ 179, 641.
Section 3. Effective Date
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval by the City Council
and signature by the Mayor.
