CITY MANAGER REPORTS
The City Manager discussed his idea of a Council Retreat to develop a 2010 Action Plan for the
City, to include setting goals that can be reasonably achieved, are realistic, and can be
achieved in a relatively short period of time. The City Manager mentioned two objectives that
he believes need discussion or direction are an annexation campaign designed to bring
additional lands into the City to increase revenues and even the City's boundaries, and a bond
issue to raise funds to replace elements of the City's aging infrastructure. He also would like
discussion to include one to two other items approved by the Council.
The City Manager suggested a possible date of Saturday, January 9, 2010, for the Council
retreat; however, one Council member is not available and asked for alternate dates.
