Statement of Issue: Request approval of the contract renewal with the Gulf Coast Traffic
Engineers for the next year. The contract’s effective date is October 1, 2013.
Background: Public Works has a budget line item approved to provide funds for annual road
striping services. This contract reflects no increase in annual expense versus the previous years'
contract. This contract renews contract number #C12-1990-PW.
Options: Approve/disapprove
Recommendations: Staff requests Board approval for the contract renewal with Gulf Coast
Traffic Engineers and authorization for the Chairman to sign the contract.
