The Northwest Florida Track Club will be putting on a 5K race on Saturday, Octobé at
5:30pm on Okaloosa Island. The start/finish line will be in front of Helen Back’s Pizza located
at 114 Amberjack Dr Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548. The course we will use will be the same as
the OLEBA (Okaloosa Law Enforcement Benevolent Association) 5K which was held in
September 2012. All proceeds from the race will go towards the construction of a regulation
rubberized track for Okaloosa County Middle and High School Track and Field programs.
We will secure all the required permits from the Okaloosa County Commissioner’s Office and
the Sheriff's Department. We have applied for liability insurance for the event and have
executed a Hold Harmless Agreement per your instructions.
We will need the use of the right lane of westbound Santa Rosa Blvd. from 5:15pm to 7:00pm.
