That the following described property is hereby rezoned from R-2 to C-2: Lot 18, Block 10, First Addition 7 ge to North Hill Gardens (7 Bobolink Street.) SECTION II. This property and building was used for congregation meetings until such time that it was too small for tne attendance, The ouilding was then leased to a doctor and he requested and ootained a variance to use the property as a doctors Office. The ouilding was then remodeled and partitioned into smail examining rooms. fne doctor then filed oankruptey and we had to xo to court and evict him to egain control of the prooerty. Tnis property was being used at that time as nonconforming use in tne R-2 area with no objections by the area property owners. At the rezonning hearing there was not one property owner that came to the hearing to voice an objection. Therefore after a hearing for the variance and a hearing for the rezonning with not one property owner objecting we Qo feel that the regonning would not be a prodlem in the area, fie property in cuestion is oounded on the north and on the west by U-2 zonned property. this rezonning would not be- spot zonning. wé are. interested in selling the property since it is no longer suitable for our use as a congresation meeting place. it is not at present suitable to be used as as dwelling. de have had some interest in purchasing the property but with the interest and plans to use it as C-2 conformance.
