A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA,
REDUCING THE MEMBERSmp OF THE WATER' S EDGE AD HOC
COMMITTEE, ALSO ESTABLISHED AS THE FLORIDA WATERFRONTS
PARTNERSmp COMMITTEE, FROM EIGHT TO FIVE MEMBERS
CONSISTING OF AT LEAST TWO BOATERS AND TWO NON-BOATERS;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. REDUCTION OF MEMBERSmp.
The Water's Edge Ad Hoc Committee, also established as the Florida Waterfronts
Partnership Committee, shall consist of five members. At least two of those members shall be
boaters and two shall be non- boaters.
SECTION 2. REDUCTION PROCESS
The membership of the Committee shall be reduced by 1) the current vacancy of one
non- boater not
being filled and 2) as two other seats become vacant, as a result of absences,
resignation, or otherwise, they will not be re- appointed.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval by the
City Council.
