EFFEC'l' The City Attorney read the ordinance by title only. Hr. Patrick moved the adop.tion of Ordinance 860 on second reading. Motion was seconded by Mr. Smith. James Scbmidt, Attorney, office at 32 Beal Parkway, stated he owns lots 2 & 3, Gardner Subdivision, 251 & 253 Eglin Parkway, 220' running on Eglin Parkway at the corner of Patton on the very edge of the city. This is presently zoned R- 1, single family residential. His research indicates that those lots are the only s~ ngle family residential left on Eglin Parkway. With the repaving that is taking place the traffic pattern will put the outside lane on the curve of those two lots and would like to request a change to R- NC or P- 2 to create a buf~er area and felt a nice office complex would be an excellent buffer. There was some discussion on this suggestion. Council recommended that Mr. Sohmidt meet with the Public Works Director and work out the proper procedure for rezoning. The Mayor called tor the vote to adopt Ordinance 860 on second reading, and it carried unanimously.
