OKALOOSA COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS August 16, 2016 Mr. Daniel Laird, Park Manager Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park 4281 SR 20 Niceville, FL 32578 RE: Easement for Lancaster Force Main Meigs-Seminole Pump Station Statement of Work in Consideration of Easement Acquisition Dear Mr. Laird: The Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa County, specifically the Water and Sewer Department (OCWS), has recently entered into an easement (hereinafter the “Easement”) with the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund of the State of Florida for property inside Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park (FGRBSP). This letter of commitment serves as the County’s consideration pursuant to the “Special Conditions” set forth within the Easement terms. This letter of commitment specifically documents the Statement of Work for the “in-kind” goods and services to be provided by OCWS for FGRBSP. OCWS is providing the goods and services described herein in consideration for the acquisition of the Easement. In order to provide the services below in the Statement of Work, the Lancaster Force Main Easement must first be acquired and the Lancaster Force Main needs to be under construction. The acquisition of the Easement will allow OCWS to mobilize and occupy the area of construction and to perform work in the area. Statement of Work: Once the Lancaster Force Main Easement is acquired and the construction has begun, the County shall: 1. Tie-in 2-inch connection to Lancaster Force Main – the Lancaster Force Main must exist in this tie-in location to connect. A 2-inch connection will be provided near force main (FM) STA: 0+40 to facilitate lateral FM construction. 2. Installation of approximately 1,360 feet of 2-inch HDPE (CTS, SDR 9) force main lateral via plowing and boring including labor, material, equipment, project management, office coordination, and surveying. 3. Cap installed at termination end of lateral force main. 4. Credit for one (1) Capacity Expansion Charge for the future bathroom connection to the 2” force main lateral. 5.
