STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval to enter into contract negotiations with the top
three bidders of Request for Qualifications (RFQ) TDD-51-14 for the design and production of
the 2014-2015 Visitors Guide for the Tourist Development Department.
BACKGROUND: The Selection Committee has reviewed all bids and requests approval to
enter into contract negotiations with the top three bidders: Life’s A Beach, Compass Media, and
Avanti.
The Tourist Development Council was apprised of the Selection Committee’s decision at its June
26, 2014 meeting.
OPTIONS: Approve or Disapprove
RECOMMENDATION: Approve contract negotiations with the top three bidders of Request
for Qualifications (RFQ) TDD-51-14 for the design and production of the 2014-2015 Visitors
Guide for the Tourist Development Department.
