1. The table below lists the roofs where recent leaking was reported.
2. Several of the roofs have multiple active leaks such as:
* the County Jail with 5-6 active leaks.
* old Crestview Hospital with 1-3 active leaks.
Note: HR, Risk, and the IS north end server core is in the old Crestview Hospital.
3. The Buildings highlighted in yellow are already 20 years old or older.
4. The buildings highlighted in green are 15+ years old or older.
THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS SITUATION BECAUSE:
•The Old Crestview Hospital Is Home to
• The Human Resources Department – they maintain irreplaceable current and
past county employee records.
• The Risk Management Department – they maintain irreplaceable legal and
insurance documents.
• The Information Systems Department’s North County Server Core – If the
servers are damaged by water intrusion, all electronic communications with the
county will be compromised.
•Email will be interrupted. Staff won’t be able to send or receive emails with
other staff or the public.
•VOIP Phone service may be off line.
•Electronic records will be unavailable.
•There are no back-up systems currently in place.
•There’s no fall-back process in place to use other phone service, paper P.O.
processing, getting bids on the street, no credit card bills can be processed.
•IT WILL TAKE WEEKS OR MONTHS TO FIX …
• The Damages To County Facilities Go Beyond the Leak Itself
