SUBJECT: Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Objective/Policy Statement
DEPARTMENT: Growth Management

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Department of Growth Management requests the Board to
approve the revision of the Federal Transit Administration required Disadvantaged Business
Enterprise Objective/Policy Statement.
BACKGROUND: The proposed DBE Objective/Policy Statement revision has been
requested by FTA after having previously approved the version presented to the BCC on June
17. This change is only on the one page statement and does not affect the policy document as
previously approved by the Board. The original DBE Program Goals was approved by the BCC
on February 7, 2012. Revision was approved by the BCC on June 17, 2014.
RECOMMENDATION: The Department of Growth Management recommends that the
Board approve the submission of the revised DBE Program Objective/Policy Statement.
