4 PROVIDING FOR AUTHORITY; AMENDING CHAPTER 20, ARTICLE IX.
5 SIGNS, BY AMENDING SECTION 20- 2010 ENTITLED uSIGNS PERMITTED
6 HC, C- 2, M- 1, M- 2, MUCC- 2 AND MUW- 24 DISTRICTS" TO AMEND
7 THE REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO MAXIMUM HEIGHT FOR WALL
8 SIGNS/ SIGN BAND TO ALLOW THE SIGN BAND TO BE INCREASED TO
9 TWO AND ONE- HALF TIMES THE HEIGHT OF THE SIGN BAND BY A
10 HORIZONTAL WIDTH OF NOT TO EXCEED 15 PER CENT OF THE WIDTH
11 OF THE BUILDING FACADE ON WHICH THE SIGN BAND IS LOCATED,
12 WHEN THE SIGN BAND FACES A PUBLIC STREET; PROVIDING FOR
13 CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND
14 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
