Discussion included that experience, education, and certification of the candidates are considered c and the salary encompasses all of these aspects and that the salary should be based on the qualification of the successful candidate. The City Manager stated that the process tonight is for the interviews; that tomorrow evening the candidates will be ranked and the salary offered is determined by Council, and he recommended that Council wait until the rankings are done before a salary range is discussed. Mr. Rynearson withdrew his motion. Mr. Rigdon withdrew his second. Mr. Franxman called the candidates back into the Council Chambers and were invited to the Council meeting on November 18, 2014.
