ORDINANCE NO. /00, 73, AN ORDINANCE VACATING A CERTAIN ALLEY AND REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-2 TO C-1 TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NURSING HOME, PROVIDING THE EF- FECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH: SECTION 1. That the alley lying between Lots 197 through 203, inclusive, and Lots 253 through 262, inclusive, Ocean City Sub- division, Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa County, Florida, is hereby closed,abandoned and vacated. SECTION 2. The following described property is hereby rezoned from R-2 to a limited purpose within C-1 to permit the construction of a nursing home: Lots 197 through 203, inclusive, and Lots 253 through 262, inclusive, Ocean City Subdivision Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa County, Florida SECTION 3, That in the event that the above property ceases to be used for a nursing home, the property shall revert back to an R-e zoning.
