City of Fort Walton Beach Ordinance _\°** AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A COMMITTEE HEREBY CALLED THE "SENIOR CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE," FOR THE SENIOR CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA, PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA; SECTION I. That the City of Fort Walton Beach hereby establishes a committee for the Senior Citizens, calied the "Senior Citizens Advisory Committee." SECTION ITI. That the purpose of the Senior Citizens Advisory Committee shall be to advise the City Council on matters affecting our Senior Citizens, recommend to Council on desired activities, and review the impact of various programs concerning Senior Citizens in the City of Fort Walton Beach. SECTION III. That the Committee shall consist of seven (7) members, must be residents of the City of Fort Walton Beach, and must be of Senior Citizen age (over 60). SECTION IV. The above ordinance may be inspected at the office of the City Clerk, City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Interested parties may appear at the meeting of City Councii on February 14, 1989, and be heard with respect to the above ordinance.
