A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO CONVEY CERTAIN
PROPERTY ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
OF FORT WALTON BEACH GRANTING
AN OPTION TO PURCHASE, AND PRO-
VIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON
BEACH, FLORIDA:

SECTION I. That the City Manager of the City of
Fort Walton Beach is hereby authorized to execute the attached
deed to Hoyt R. Ozbirn and W. Edsel Brooks upon payment of
the sum of $4,500.00 per acre, plus on-site improvements.
SECTION IT.
That the City further grants to Hoyt R.
Ozbirn and W. Edsel Brooks an option to purchase an additional
2 1/2 acres within two years from date for $4,500.00 per acre
and the same to contain a comparable deed restriction in
accordance with the deed attached hereto, and the property
being more particularly described as follows:
Begin at the SW corner of the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of
Section 9, Township 2 South, Range 24 West, Okaloosa
County, Florida.
Proceed South along section line
66 feet to the South right-of-way of Lovejoy Road;
thence South 87°24' East along right-of-way 1459.34 ft.
to the P.O.B.;
thence continue South 87°24' East
350 feet; thence South 2°36' West 321.98 feet;
thence North 87°24' West 350 feet; thence North
2°36'
East 321.98 feet to the P.O.B. Said parcel
contains 2.59 acres more or less and is subject
to existing easements.
SECTION IIT.
This resolution being of administrative
nature shall take full force and effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the Mayor.
