We currently have a case management conference scheduled on February 12" before Judge Stone and we will be sure to keep everyone apprised of any new developments. Thank you, Lynn From: John Hofstad [mailto:jhofstad@co.okaloosa.fl.us] Sent: Wednesday, February 05, 2014 1:58 PM To: Stewart, Greg; Hoshihara, Lynn Cc: Ernie Padgett; Jim Trifilio; Ed Schroeder; James Puckett Subject: FW: Beach cleaning cost comparison Greg/Lynn, Please see the attached revised cost comparison regarding beach cleaning services and performing this work in-house versus outsourcing. We are fast approaching the Spring Break time of year (starts locally in March) and we need to get this in front of the Board for direction. If you believe we are premature because of the pending litigation, please let me know if we need to hold off. My biggest concern is having to pull personnel from other areas to provide this service once the beach traffic picks up. Without some direction from the Board as it relates to personnel, we might not be able to sustain the level of service that our TDD partners and visitors demand. | do believe that once the Board realizes the potential cost savings that they will be quick to pull the trigger and task in-house staff with this service in the future. Just want to make sure that we are all on the same page before presenting this analysis to the Board for action (targeting the 2/18/14 BCC mtg). Please let me know your thoughts when you get a chance.
