ORDINANCE NO. f~ z,.- AN ORDINANCE SETTING THE ELECTION DATE FOR THE BI- ANNUALCITY ELECTION FOR THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FOR THE YEAR 1966; PROVIDING FOR THE POLLING PLACES AND WORKERS THEREAT; DE- CLARING AN EMERGENCY, PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. . BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the bi- annual election date for the City election for the filling of vacancies on the City Council of the City of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, for the year 1966, shall be held between the hours of 7 A. M. and 7 P. M. on Tuesday, June 7, 1966, which will be the date of the first primary and during the hours of 7 A. M. and 7 P. M. on Tuesday, June 21, 1966, in the event of a runoff election. SECTION 2. That the registration books for the registration of qualified City electors shall close at 12 Noon on May 7, 1966, which is 30 days preceeding the date on which there is to be held the said election and the books shall remain closed for 5 days following the election. No shall register for said election at any time person other than during the period prior to 12 o' clock noon on Saturday, May 7, 1966. of the various wards and the SECTION 3.
