The Board of County Commissioners received two (2) responsive bids for the project. The Total Base Bid was for a complete 500 kW Diesel Generator, Integrated Fuel Tank, Weather/Sound Enclosure and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). ESSE, LLC was the lowest bidder meeting all the qualification requirements specified in the contract documents. ESSE is the largest southeast distributor for Generac equipment and Okaloosa County has similar products of same quality and operational performance currently in the system. Pursuant to the bids received for the above referenced project, Constantine Engineering, Inc. recommends that the Board of County Commissioners, Okaloosa County, Florida, award this project to the ESSE, LLC the lowest and most responsive base bid for a lump sum total of $98,505.00 and a maximum Delivery Time of 115 Days from receipt of purchase order.
