AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN
THE CITY OF FORT WALTON BEACH FROM C-2 TO
R-2, PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BACKGROUND FACTS:
A. The owner of the property described in this ordinance has
submitted a request to rezone this property, and
B. A public hearing has been held after "due pulbic notice"
before the Municipal Planning Board of Fort Walton Beach,
which meeting occurred on 5th day of July 1983, and
C. A public hearing under this same "due public notice", has
been held before the City Council on July 12, 1983, and
D. This property is located at Lots 1 through 10 inclusive
(facing Bass Avenue), and Lots 14 through 20 inclusive
(facing Beal Parkway), and
Considering all of the above, it is ORDAINED:
Section l. That the following described property is hereby
rezoned from C-2 to R-2:
Lots 1 through 10 inclusive —- facing Bass Avenue
Lots 14 through 20 inclusive —- facing Beal Parkway,
Block 1, Beal's Addition to Fort Walton Beach.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective upon its
approval by the Council upon second reading and upon signature by the
Mayor.
