BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: June 3, 2014 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Ed Schroeder SUBJECT: Peter Mayer TO 75 Christmas Campaign Media (Revised) DEPARTMENT: Tourist Development Department BCC DISTRICT: STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval for Chairman to sign revised Task Order 75 titled Emerald Christmas Campaign Media Pass Through Costs, contract C12-2007-TDC Peter A Mayer Advertising, in the amount of $203,725. BACKGROUND: Task Order 75 as originally approved on October 1, 2013 included a line item for “Regional Magazines - Full page 4 color ads in 16+ Feeder markets.” The task order was approved prior to final media negotiations, and the ad agency was able to negotiate online banners and e-blasts at discounted rates as part of the overall print package for the full page ads.
