SUBJECT: Verizon Wireless DTS Agreement

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: A proposed Verizon Wireless Agreement for In Building Radio
Distribution at the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach (DTS) Airport is being presented to the Board of
County Commissioners for approval.
BACKGROUND: Verizon Wireless requests to install an In Building Radio Distribution device
(IBRDs) in both FBOs at the Destin/Ft. Walton Beach Airport. The IBRDs will enhance
wireless communication for passengers at the DestinJet Aviation facility and the Regal Air
Destin Aviation facility. Verizon Wireless' certificate of insurance is attached along with the
contract and lease internal coordination sheet.
OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table.
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve the Verizon
Wireless Destin/Ft.Walton Beach Airport Agreement as described above.
