STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Seeking Board approval to utilize the State of Florida Contract #01-
070-700-S for the purchase of Two (2) F750 Flatbed Dump Trucks.
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: Road Department has requested the purchase of Two (2)
F750 Flatbed Dump Trucks off the State of Florida Contract #01-070-700-S. The cost of each
truck is $74,896.00, total cost is $149,792.00. The Purchasing Manual allows for the use of State
contract prices without further negotiations. Funding is available in the FY2014 budget.
OPTIONS: Award or Reject purchase of Two (2) F750 Flatbed Dump Trucks.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approving the purchase of Two (2) F750 Flatbed
Dump Trucks off the State of Florida Contract # 01-070-700-S.
