Okaloosa County BOCC — October 20, 2015 — Tranit Block Grant 2015 JPA Authorizing Resolution 10 12 15

AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION NO. 15 – ____ WHEREAS, as authorized under section 341.052, Florida Statutes, the Florida Department of Transportation (hereinafter referred to as the “Department”) has entered into a Joint Participation Agreement, Contract No. ARN27, with the Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners to provide Transit Block Grant funding to Okaloosa County (hereinafter referred to as the “Agency”); and WHEREAS, the DEPARTMENT has prepared a Supplemental Joint Participation Agreement #1 to Contract #ARN27, which is titled Multi-Year Joint Participation Agreement Notification of Grant Award #1 (hereinafter referred to as the “SJPA #1”) and agrees to a maximum participation, including contingencies, in the project amount of $448,183.00 for use during Fiscal Year beginning 10/01/2015 through 09/30/2016; and WHEREAS, the AGENCY has the authority to enter into the SJPA #1 and further agrees to the conditions upon which assistance will be provided and the understanding as to the matter in which the project will be undertaken, as outlined in the Joint Participation Agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the AGENCY hereby approves the SJPA #1 and authorizes the Chairman to execute the SJPA #1. DULY PASSED AND ADOPTED in regular session this 20th day of October, 2015.
