Council unanimously approved a change order for the publio safety building
in the aaount of $825. 00 which would allow addition of ~ tons of steel
in the driveway leading froa the fire equipaent room to the street, on
motion by Sooniers, and it was seconded by Mr. Killingsworth.

Councilman Sconiers requested that the City Manapr get a firm completion
date on the building - the public safety building. Be said in October that
it would be three years since the Oi ty had started planning for this building.
Manager said he would be glad to request the date.
Under new business Manapr asked permission to sign offioial reoeipt for a

surplus ( salvage) BOMABC aissile to be given to the Choctawhatohee High
School. He said goTermaent rulings would not allow the school board to
sign the papervork. Mr. Rigdon JIOved that the city Manager be authoriz-
ed to sign the necessary paperwork. Motion was seconded by Mr. Ready.
Manapr said the Air Force would ereot the aissile on the school properly-.

Manager announced the dates for the annual Meeting of the Florida Leape of
Munioipalities, Ootober 22, 23 and 24, to be held in Holl1Wood.Florida and
